Getting there

The celebration takes place at Strandbad Wendenschloss in Köpenick — [find your way here ↗] on the 12th of September!

By car — Parking can be found in the residential streets beside the venue. The grounds themselves cannot be reached by car; the nearest point of arrival is a four-minute walk.

By public transport — Take Tram 68 to Wendenschloß, then follow the path for roughly 15 minutes.

Accommodation — If you need help finding somewhere to stay in Berlin, don't hesitate to reach out. There are a few hotels and hostels close to the venue.

The beach is open to the public, should you find strangers upon arrival, fear not. You are exactly where you need to be.

What to Wear

There is no formal dress code. Come as you are, we ask only that your attire carries a sense of occasion, something worthy of the day. Suits optional. Black, as ever, is more than welcome.

Above all, we hope you feel present, comfortable, and able to fully enjoy the day.

Good to know

The ceremony begins at 15:15. We ask that you arrive by 15:00, you will be welcomed at the entrance and guided to where the vows take place. We encourage you to be early. Some moments begin only once.

The night is ours until 1:00, with the possibility, should the mood demand it, of carrying on until 3.

The venue asks that smoking on the beach and lawn be done with an ashtray, which the staff will gladly provide.

During the ceremony, we ask that phones be put to rest. Our photographer will tend to what needs to be remembered — we ask only for your presence, undivided and unhurried.

Babies are most welcome and do not count toward your +1. If you'll be bringing one, please let us know, we'll make sure there is a proper place at the table for them.
